EA Sports projects the Florida Gators as the gridiron kings of the state this year.
After the release of the new College Football 26 video game this week, we fired up Dynasty mode and simulated the 2025 campaign.

Not only did the Gators crush USF, topple No. 15 Miami and claim an absolute shootout over Florida State, they met the Seminoles again in the Gasparilla Bowl and defeated their archrival for a second time. That’s 4-0 against in-state foes.

Overall, Florida went 8-5 and finished 11th in the SEC. In our simulation, despite the underwhelming results, Billy Napier remained the head coach in Gainesville.
Other notable takeaways: The Gators fell to 1-3 against ranked opponents and compiled a 3-5 mark in the SEC. Their opponents’ combined record was 97-60.
