Bucs lose Logan Hall in free agency to the Texans

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had decent depth on their defensive line in recent years. Slowly but surely, that depth has been picked away by injuries or free agency. Well, another player from the group now finds himself leaving the Bucs to fill a larger need to fix the position for the team.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday night that defensive lineman Logan Hall and the Houston Texans agreed to terms on a contract. Hall will be completing a homecoming of sorts as he returns to where he played his college football as a Cougar.

Hall was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and never quite found his footing to fill that draft capital. Instead, he settled into a role as a defensive line rotational piece and brought with him a spark at times to the group. In his career with the Bucs, Hall gathered up 101 tackles and 10 sacks while also forcing three fumbles.

The Bucs will now have free agency and the NFL Draft to fill the void left by Hall leaving.
