With Florida consistently facing one of the nation’s toughest schedules, the widened playoff field works in favor of a program seeking to step back into the national spotlight. Not only is Florida’s schedule built for the modern playoff era, so is its NIL infrastructure and financial investment.
Some experts argue that a larger field will mean a de-emphasized regular season and prime conference matchups, but it’s a price Florida would pay to increase its chances for a title run.
