4Quartersonline hosted its 16th annual Big Bend football media day at Hangar 38 in Tallahassee on Tuesday, July 22.
Sixteen teams across the area attended the annual football season preview.
Of those present, the Tallahassee Democrat met with nine head coaches. All agreed to anonymity to discuss surprising characteristics of their teams, preseason hype, a Big Bend football draft, and other subjects.
The idea was inspired by Sports Illustrated’s anonymous coaches questionnaire at last week’s Southwestern Athletic Conference Media Day.
Here are the questions and confidential answers by the Big Bend’s head football coaches.
What’s an unknown trait of your team that will catch opponents off guard?
What Big Bend area team isn’t getting enough preseason hype?
Without picking your team, who will be the Big Bend’s top squad this season?
If there were a Big Bend football draft, which player would you select to join your team?
Which player in the Big Bend is the most challenging to scheme for?
