Did you score one of Aldi’s free Blind Boxes? If you did, you were very, very lucky.
Fans of the discount grocer reported that the themed boxes filled with “ALDI fan-favorite products, standout staples and fresh picks from across every aisle,” according to a company release, were all claimed within a minute, although many reported online wait times of more than 40 minutes before they found that out.
The boxes are available for a limited time, from Monday, June 22, to Thursday, June 25. At noon ET each day, customers can visit AldiBlindBox.com to claim that day’s free themed box, while supplies last. Boxes will be shipped directly to the lucky shoppers.
“While supplies last” was, apparently, measured in eyeblinks.

How do you get an Aldi blind box?
Hopeful fans went to the site, clicked the order button when the countdown hit zero, and ran through a series of photo CAPTCHA pages to prove they were human. After that, a screen notified them of the estimated wait times for checkout, according to the IndyStar, a site in the USA TODAY NETWORK.
“IndyStar tried and got a 41-minute wait time notice, only to be met at the end with a pop-up saying the item was ‘Out of Stock,’” reporter Cheryl V. Jackson said.
Frustrated Redditors in the /r/aldi subreddit posted wait times from a few minutes to more than half an hour. No one admitted to getting one.
How many blind boxes is Aldi giving out?
The boxes will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis, and more than 100 boxes will be given away per drop, the company said.
However, the AldiBlindBox.com Terms and Conditions page says, “On or about June 22, 2026, the first 90 people to enter the Sweepstakes in accordance with these Official Rules will be winners of this Sweepstakes, subject to Sponsor’s verification procedures.”
That’s not very many boxes to spread among fans across the country. The potential winners are narrowed a bit by the list of states where residents may not enter, which include “Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions.”
What will be in Aldi blind boxes?
The four themes for the boxes include:

Aldi, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the U.S. this year, has been expanding rapidly in Florida. The German-born chain has already opened more than 20 new locations here in 2026, on top of 60 last year, bringing the total number of Florida Aldis to around 320, far more than any other state in the nation.
