Every four years, the world’s focus shifts to the global stage as billions of fans unite to cheer for their nation’s team in the World Cup, and the tournament’s palpable energy is best felt at your favorite local bar.
Watching alongside a crowd transforms the match into a high-stakes community celebration, fueled by an electric atmosphere and camaraderie that simply can’t be replicated at home.
Here are some Treasure Coast bars and restaurants that told TCPalm they will show the World Cup.
These venues have DIRECTV and told TCPalm they will tune in to the World Cup if customers ask, but you should call ahead to make sure:
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
Riverside Cafe, Vero Beach
The waterfront bar and restaurant owned by David and Ellen Lane has been a local staple for many years. It sits on the Indian River Lagoon, under the Merrill P. Barber bridge. The wooden establishment has a rustic, Old Florida vibe, decorated with sports, music and bar memorabilia. There are over 30 televisions, and they will show the World Cup. It features first-come, first-serve indoor table and bar seating and covered, outdoor seating. The sports bar and restaurant offer live music, stunning sunset views and dock slips for those arriving by boat. Menu highlights include its famous onion rings, tuna nachos, the Jake Owen mahi sandwich, chicken parmesan sandwich and the crabby pig with fried soft shell crab and pork belly on rye. The drink menu features wine, beer, specialty martinis, frozen drinks and cocktails.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY
2nd Street Bistro Sports Bar & Restaurant, Fort Pierce
Gary Sofen opened the downtown Fort Pierce restaurant in 2012. Sofen also owns The Urban Tapas next door to the bistro, Island Beach Bar & Restaurant on Hutchinson Island and The Twist Lime Restaurant & Bar in Vero Beach. In 2025, the sports bar and restaurant, located in a 100-year-old historic building, was remodeled with a new look and menu. It has a warm yet chic industrial atmosphere with wood-paneled walls, exposed ceiling planks and potted plants. The wall behind the full bar is covered wall-to-wall with flat-screen televisions, plus more are scattered throughout the building. It has an indoor bar, booth and table seating along with an outdoor dining area and bar with televisions. Menu items include boneless or bone-in wings, Southern fried green tomatoes, filet tips and mushroom cheese sliders, salads, ahi tuna nachos, pizza, osso bucco, jambalaya, burgers and a mahi sandwich.
El Mas Chingon Bar & Grill, Fort Pierce
Mexico City native David Miranda opened the restaurant at the corner of Orange Avenue and Jenkins Road in January 2026. Its serves Mexican-style favorites made from family recipes passed down for generations, as well as creative, modern cocktails. Its vibrant exterior, featuring Day of the Dead murals, matches its festive, modern interior, offering a lively yet warm atmosphere. It will be running specials for the World Cup. Menu items include mango ceviche, enchiladas verdes, carne asada, Mexican double hamburger and famosa torta Mexicana.

Fox & Crown Brewery & Pub, Port St. Lucie
Matthew Teun took over Side Door Brewing Co., Port St. Lucie’s first brewery in 2024, and turned it into a British-style craft beer and football hub, which opened in 2025. It offers an authentic English pub experience with its food and beer. Teun has roots in England, with some of his family members still living there. It offers multiple televisions to watch every Premier League, Champions League and international matches. It has a warm atmosphere decorated with football club flags, team banners and country flags. There is bar and table seating as well as pool and darts. The menu features American, New England, Irish and German beers.
MARTIN COUNTY
J. Michael’s Tavern & Grille, Stuart
The tavern and grille serves classic American dishes and Cajun specials with a bold, modern twist paired with signature cocktails. It’s vibrant with high energy for games, yet welcoming and laid-back. The large outdoor courtyard sits in a tall architectural structure, offering a Mexican-style tiled bar with a television under a long “stairway-to-somewhere,” along with umbrella-covered tables. The inside features high top, table and bar seating accompanied by over 20 televisions, sports decor and neon bar signs. Guests can watch numerous games that are on different channels at the same time. Menu items include their infamous wings, Mediterranean lobster flatbread, creamy Cajun bowtie, cucumber dill crusted salmon, jambalaya and braised short ribs. The drink menu includes a maple bacon sour, lemongrass ginger mule, chocolate peanut butter old-fashioned, frozen sangria and St. Germain martini.
Townies Tavern, Palm City
The tavern opened in 2020, serving authentic, slow-cooked barbecue smoked on-site. It combines the old-town feeling of Palm City with a modern menu, specializing in tavern-style favorites and craft cocktails. It offers a chic, modern industrial farmhouse atmosphere, featuring indoor seating with numerous televisions showing the World Cup, along with an expansive outdoor patio complete with more televisions and a tiki bar. Townies Tavern will also be running food and drink specials for the tournament. Regular menu items include sticky ribs, Boston beef sandwich, birria smashburger and mahi-mahi sandwich.
