2027 NFL Draft: Summer scouting rankings for interior OL

We have reached another week into the Summer Scouting process, and that means we have wrapped up watching the top interior offensive linemen in the class heading into the Fall.

In total, I watched 11 interior offensive linemen and will be sharing some notes on the top 10. I will share all the names at the end, but when we discuss the top options of this interior offensive linemen class, there are some solid pieces for teams to target. The Summer is all about being positive with players, with some notes to keep in mind when we watch them in the Fall.

We have beaten around the bush enough, though, let’s show our rankings.

1) Kade Pieper, Iowa

Scouting Report

“Pieper is a really fun offensive lineman prospect for the upcoming college football season. He has some serious potential to be the top-drafted guard in the 2027 NFL Draft if he declares.”

2) Greg Johnson, Minnesota

Scouting Report

“Greg Johnson is a fun guard prospect in a group of players that has underwhelmed to an extent this Summer. He strikes me as someone who could be a day one starter in the NFL and be a plus starter in two years’ time.”

3) Evan Tengesdahl, Cincinnati

Scouting Report

“Evan Tengesdahl is a reliable piece on the Bearcats offensive line and has the promise to continue his upward trajectory. He does a good job of helping establish a pocket in pass protection and is a bulldozer in the run game.”

4) Iapani Laloulu, Oregon

Scouting Report

“Laloulu is one of the better interior blockers in the college football landscape. His size on paper may not be the best, but he showcases himself to be worthy of your attention with his athleticism and power.”

5) Cash Cleveland, Texas Tech

Scouting Report

“Cash Cleveland has not played a lot in college football, but what he has done in a short amount of time is promising. He has decent athleticism, paired with good technique, which makes him an easy plug for an offensive line.”

6) Collin Sadler, Clemson

Scouting Report

“Collin Sadler is impressive at times with how he works the middle of the Clemson offensive line. Other times, he shows that he is still very much a work in progress.”

7) Anthonie Knapp, Notre Dame

Scouting Report

“Anthonie Knapp is making the move from tackle to guard for Notre Dame in 2026. He showcased some promise at the tackle spot as he handled bull rushers well with his ability to remain balanced and anchor.”

8) Braelin Moore, LSU

Scouting Report

“Moore is a fun player to watch play the center position, as he doesn’t appear the biggest on film, but he makes up for it by playing with a bit of an edge. He showcases his strength, agility, and balance to be a reliable piece in the LSU offensive line.”

9) Coen Echols, Texas A&M

Scouting Report

“Coen Echols isn’t the best player coming out of the LSU offensive line, but Texas A&M may be the one who can fix him. The physical traits and chippiness you want from interior linemen are there for him.”

10) Coleton Price, Kentucky

Scouting Report

“Coleton Price is not going to knock people’s socks off, but he is efficient. The Baylor offense allowed him to flex his pass protection often, but it was the spots he had run blocking that showed he can do both.”
