For this week’s high school poll, we’re talking about football, and we’re talking about atmosphere.
We want to know where you think is the toughest place to play in the desert.
What makes an opponent’s home field difficult may vary for each person. Is it the place with the rowdiest student section? Maybe there’s an opponent that just always has your number? Perhaps the altitude or the colder temperatures of a high desert foe might color your decision? Maybe a long bus ride is a factor?
You tell us, of the 15 high school football teams in our coverage area, which one has the biggest home-field advantage? Where do you hate to play the most?
Last week’s winner: Last week, we took one look back at the previous season and asked who you thought was the team of the year. You voted, and you chose the Shadow Hills girls’ wrestling team which picked up its second consecutive CIF-SS team title this past season.
This week’s winner is up to you. Vote at the poll at the bottom of this article at desertsun.com, and whichever school has the most votes at noon on Saturday will be the winner. Happy voting!
