SpaceX’s seventh and, potentially, final rocket launch of August is due up in the week ahead.
While it’s not unheard of for the commercial spaceflight company to announce missions closer to the launch window, as of now, just one more spaceflight is on the schedule before the month is out at the Vandenberg Space Force Base.
And as is typical, it’ll be a mission to launch SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket to deliver a batch of Starlink internet satellites to space.
Californians – and potentially Arizonans – making their plans to watch any launches should keep in mind that lots can change between now and when each rocket is expected to lift off, as delays in spaceflight are common. Be sure to visit VC Star for the latest mission updates.
In the meantime, here’s your weekly look at the upcoming launch schedule at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
Wednesday, Aug. 26: Starlink 15-22
