After selecting Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg and Florida State’s Lajae Jones, the Warriors added another college standout in the undrafted free agent market. According to multiple reports, Gonzaga star big man Graham Ike is coming to the Bay Area. Ike will play for Golden State’s Summer League team over the offseason.
Ike was listed as one of Kevin O’Connor of Yahoo Sports’ top-25 undrafted free agents.
Ike played five seasons of college basketball, starting in Wyoming. Ike then played three star-studded seasons under Mark Few at Gonzaga. In his final season in Spokane, Ike averaged 19.9 points on 56.3% shooting from the field with eight boards and 2.4 assists per contest on his way to winning WCC Player of the Year.
At 6-foot-9, Ike will likely compete for a roster spot in Golden State’s veteran-led frontcourt.
The Warriors will play their first Summer League contest on Sunday, July 5, against the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center.
