One of the early signs of hoops season approaching is the annual unveiling of NBA 2K ratings for the latest edition of the famous basketball video game. For the 2027 edition of the game, 2K recently revealed 3-point shooting ratings for the game. To no one’s surprise, the Golden State Warriors’ point guard sat at the top of the list.
For NBA 2K27, Steph Curry will get a 99 rating on 3-point shooting, the best rating in the game from beyond the arc. Curry’s 99 is five point better than the next best shooter, Charlotte Hornets sophomore shooter, Kon Knuppel at 94. Detroit’s Duncan Robinson, Phoenix’s Luke Kennard and Portland’s Damian Lillard rounded out the top-five shooters in the game.
Curry has carried a 99 rating from long distance since 2K16, marking 10 straight games with a 99 3-point shot rating. Curry’s lowest rating from 3-point land came in his rookie season for NBA 2K10. Curry has only been rated under 92 twice in his history in the game.
Curry played 43 games last season, shooting 39.3% from beyond the arc, his lowest mark since 2022. Curry has only dipped below 40% from beyond the arc three times in his career.
