The Golden State Warriors’ 2025-26 season came to an end on Friday night with a 111-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference play-in tournament. With their defeat, another chapter was closed in the historic trio of Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Steve Kerr.
Before exiting the court on Friday night, the trio of future Hall of Famers embraced each other for a moment in Phoenix.

Kerr was mic’d up for Friday’s contest and his microphone picked up what he told Curry and Green during their embrace in Phoenix.
Kerr has been coaching the Warriors since 2014, spending the last 12 seasons coaching Curry and Green. The trio has won four championships together, along with shattering multiple franchise records in the Bay Area.
Despite their history, Golden State’s looming offseason has already presented multiple question marks regarding the future of Kerr and Green. While the 38-year-old Curry will likely continue to be a pillar of Golden State’s future plans, Kerr’s contract is expiring and Green has a player-option for next season.
With their season ending, Curry, Kerr, Green and Mike Dunleavy Jr. will have to begin answering some of these questions as the offseason gets underway.
