May is here, and SpaceX is showing no signs of slowing down its pace this month for California rocket launches.
In the next week alone, the commercial spaceflight company’s 230-foot Falcon 9 rocket is due to get off the ground twice from the Vandenberg Space Force Base. Each mission, unsurprisingly, is a delivery of SpaceX’s Starlink broadband internet satellites to Earth orbit.
Ready for liftoff?
Californians – and potentially Arizonans – making their plans to watch any launches should keep in mind that lots can change between now and when each rocket is expected to lift off, as delays in spaceflight are common. Be sure to visit VC Star for the latest mission updates.
In the meantime, here’s your weekly look at the upcoming launch schedule at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
Tuesday, May 5: Starlink 17-29
Saturday, May 9: Starlink 17-37
