The internet has erupted against UCLA men’s basketball head coach Mick Cronin. Part of this was for his ejection of Steven Jamerson. Part of this was for lashing out at a reporter in his postgame press conference following UCLA’s 82-59 loss to Michigan State on Tuesday.
Cronin was asked about his thoughts involving Michigan State’s student section chanting junior forward Xavier Booker’s name. The Bruins’ coach insulted the reporter and accused him of raising his voice. Now the interaction has made the rounds on social media with fans and sports reporters responding in disapproval of how Cronin handled himself. Here were some of the reactions on Twitter:
