Karol G is about to make history on April 12 as the first Latina headliner in Coachella history. So who might she invite onstage for her big moment?
The Grammy Award winner from Medellín, Colombia, has five studio albums, and the most recent one, “Tropicoqueta,” includes collaborations with six artists who she could definitely bring out.

Some of the most exciting special guest possibilities for the música urbana star, however, are collaborators from other albums — including one who the world just saw on the Super Bowl halftime stage. Here are our top five predictions for Karol G’s Coachella special guests.
Peso Pluma
In addition to being one of the biggest stars in Latin music right now, Mexican corridos tumbados artist Peso Pluma is featured on Karol G’s song “QLONA” off the album “Mañana Será Bonito.” The Grammy Award winner is also no stranger to the desert after coming out as a special guest of Becky G’s at Coachella 2023 and a special guest of Junior H’s at Coachella 2025; performing his own Coachella set in 2024; and headlining several concerts at nearby Acrisure Arena. He’d be right at home on the Coachella 2026 stage with Karol G to perform “QLONA,” HOWEVER, and this is an important note, Peso is on tour right now. He will be performing in Rogers, Arkansas during Karol’s Weekend 1 set, so he’d only be free to come out during her Weekend 2 set (he has a break in his tour schedule for a few days after April 18).
Kali Uchis
Like Peso Pluma, R&B/pop/Latin artist Kali Uchis is no stranger to Coachella (or nearby Acrisure Arena). The Grammy Award winner performed at Coachella 2023 and brought out several special guests — including Don Toliver, Tyler, the Creator and Omar Apollo — and then at Coachella 2025, she came out as a special guest for Jennie of BLACKPINK to sing their collaboration “Damn Right.” It would be an amazing girl power moment if she hopped onstage during Karol G’s headlining set to sing their song “Me Tengo Que Ir” off Karol’s album “Mañana Será Bonito.”
Young Miko
Puerto Rican rapper/singer-songwriter Young Miko performed her own set at Coachella 2024, and this would be the perfect year for her to return as a special guest. The Grammy-nominated artist recently graced the cover of Rolling Stone, and the magazine explained why she’s having a huge moment right now: “In the past several months, she released her second album, ‘Do Not Disturb,’ warmed up arena crowds for Billie Eilish, and sold out two nights at Puerto Rico’s most famous arena.” If Young Miko were to join Karol G to sing their song “DISPO,” it would only further cement her as one of the hottest Latin artists of the present moment.
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny — the first Latin solo artist to ever headline Coachella — is arguably the biggest Latin musician of the 2020s thus far, and especially following his culture-shifting Super Bowl LX halftime show performance in February, it would be an incredible moment if Bad Bunny were to join Karol G on the Coachella Stage. Seeing the pair perform their 2017 hit “Ahora Me Llama” — a song many critics credit for her rise to fame — off Karol G’s debut album “Unstoppable” is a moment the internet would be talking about for a while, but the pair recently reunited to perform the song during a Bad Bunny show in Karol G’s hometown of Medellín, Colombia, so it’s possible they’ve gotten together too recently for this to happen — but I still have faith.
Shakira
The only bigger musician to come out of Colombia than Karol G is superstar Shakira. The previous Coachella artist (she came out as a special guest for Bizarrap at Coachella 2024 but has yet to be a billed artist on the lineup) is from Barranquilla, Colombia, and if she joined Karol G onstage at Coachella to sing their song “TQG,” I can only begin to fathom how loud the (very warranted) screams will be on the festival grounds. In interviews, Karol has called collaborating with the Colombian icon a “forever dream,” saying “I still pinch myself” when thinking about it. The pair have yet to perform their collaboration together onstage, so this would be meaningful on several levels, but there’s one slight problem: Shakira is performing in Mumbai, India, two days before Karol G’s Weekend 1 set, and then in New Delhi, India four days before the Weekend 2 performance — but then again, maybe those few days in between are just enough time to get over the jet lag and have Shakira close out the festival with Karol G Sunday, April 19.
