The San Bernardino County Fairgrounds’ May event calendar includes the 79th annual SBC Fair, one of the most popular events in the High Desert.
With this year’s slogan, “May the Fair Be With You,” the Star Wars-themed fair is slated to run from May 23 to May 25, and from May 29 to May 31 at the fairgrounds in Victorville.
The two-weekend fair includes the High Point Dirt Series with Tuff Trucks and more on May 23, the Demo Derby on May 24 and the Western Heritage Pro Open Bull Riding event on May 25.
The fair’s Concert Series includes country music artist Colt Ford on May 30. Latin Night will take place on May 31 with bands Voz De Mando, Los Cadetes De Linares and Conjunto Elevado.
The SBC Fair’s Junior Livestock Auction is also scheduled on May 30.
The SBC Fair will feature carnival rides, various food options and plenty of vendors offering homemade products, food, clothing, home furnishings, spas, cooking ware and more, organizers said.
It will also include exhibits ranging from crafts and fine art to food and gardening.

Monster Truck Thunder
Before the annual fair arrives, the Monster Truck Thunder Show will roll into the SBC Fairgrounds from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on May 2.
The ground-pounding monster trucks will fly 30 feet in the air during the show, which will include Plus Tuff Trucks, Quad Racers and Monster Truck rides for the kids.
All advance tickets receive a free pit party pass that will be honored at the gate, which opens at 5 p.m.
