The community meal is open to everyone—families, friends, individuals, anyone who wants to join in and share a meal together.

The meal will be held on Nov. 27 at the American Legion Post 31 at 14 W. Laurel Drive in Salinas. Serving starts at 11 a.m. and ends when meals run out.

“This event is our way of bringing the community together and ensuring everyone has a place to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal,” organizer J.R. Osuna said.

The American Legion Post 31 would also like to extend its gratitude to The Food Bank for Monterey County and all the generous donors whose support make the Thanksgiving meal possible.
