When people discuss the Los Angeles Rams’ offense, most of the conversation surrounds their potent passing attack. Led by MVP Matthew Stafford and league-leading receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, their ability to move the ball down the field against the NFL’s best secondaries is why they are one of the most exciting units in football.
However, there’s another side to their overall offensive success, and that is their underrated rushing attack. The duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, with occasional help from Ronnie Rivers and Nacua, was the highest-graded rushing offense in the league last season, according to Pro Football Network’s Offense Impact metric.
Williams wrapped up his third straight 1,000-yard season, reaching that mark every year he’s been a starter. Corum, after seeing minimal action as a rookie, saw a massive increase in usage, finishing 2025 with an average of 5.1 yards per carry. That led to Corum putting up 746 rushing yards, with the two combining for over 2,000 yards from scrimmage.
And this is on an offense that led the league in passing, with Stafford finishing third in pass attempts last season. Despite limited opportunities, the Rams’ rushing attack has become even more productive. If the team’s defense is as good as believed, that should lead to more carries, especially if the team has to run the clock out instead of engaging in a fourth-quarter shootout as they were prone to last season.
