The Los Angeles Rams will have a franchise legend in the building at Lumen Field on Sunday night when they take on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. And it’s a guy who knows a thing or two about winning conference titles.
The team announced on Saturday that Aaron Donald will be their honorary captain for Sunday’s matchup with the Seahawks. He’ll be in attendance, watching his former team take on one of their biggest rivals with a spot in the Super Bowl up for grabs.
Donald shared a message for the Rams on Instagram Friday, urging them to “go get it done.” Now, it’s confirmed he’ll be in person cheering them on.
Donald was in attendance for the Rams’ playoff win against the Vikings last year, traveling to Arizona to watch them beat Minnesota in the wild-card round. This game is even better and as someone who owned the Seahawks throughout his career, he’s surely hoping to see some of his former teammates knock out Seattle on Sunday.
