There are six members of the 99 Club in “Madden NFL 27” this year, two of them being Los Angeles Rams stars: Matthew Stafford and Myles Garrett. The Rams nearly had a third in the club, too.
On Wednesday, EA Sports revealed the ratings of the top 10 wide receivers in Madden 27, and at No. 3 was Puka Nacua. His overall rating is 98, just 1 shy of a perfect 99 like his two teammates.
Davante Adams didn’t make the top 10, coming in with a rating of 91 or below; his official rating has yet to be revealed. Ja’Marr Chase and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are the two highest-rated receivers in the game, both earning 99 overall marks.
No one would’ve had an issue with Nacua being in the 99 Club, and Trey McBride was surprised the Rams receiver wasn’t given a 99 overall rating after seeing the catches and plays he made last year.
EA updates ratings throughout the year so if Nacua goes off early in the season, it’s possible (perhaps even probable) that he’ll join the 99 Club at some point during the 2026 campaign.
