Lupillo Rivera tops bill for Acrisure Arena stop of 90s Corridos Tour

Mexican singers Lupillo Rivera, Jorge Gamboa and many more will perform on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Acrisure Arena as part of The 90s Corridos Tour.

A corrido is a classic Mexican story‑song that turns everyday life, legendary figures, and historic moments into melodic folklore. These ballads travel across generations, carried by memory, music, and the people who keep singing them.

Lineup features two defining voices of Mexican music

One of the highlights of the tour is Rivera, a Grammy Award winner recognized in 2010 for his album “Tu Esclavo y Amo.” The Long Beach native has earned a prominent place in regional Mexican music, with the album reaching No. 18 on Billboard’s U.S. Regional Mexican Albums chart and No. 42 on the Top Latin Albums chart. Rivera is celebrated for iconic hits including “El Moreño,” “Baraja de Oro,” “Fondo, Fondo,” and “Grandes Ligas.”

Gamboa is known for his loyal following among fans of traditional corridos, His music explores themes of migration, poverty, and the lived realities of Sinaloa, delivered through the raw, narrative style that defines his sound.
