Lakers add two more undrafted rookies on Exhibit 10 contracts

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers continued to add undrafted free agents to their team. They had already signed AK Okereke, a forward from Vanderbilt University, and Peter Suder, a guard from Miami University, to two-way contracts, and they signed big man William Kyle III from Syracuse University to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Los Angeles brought on board Robbie Avila on an Exhibit 10 contract. He last played for Saint Louis University after transferring there in 2024 from Indiana State University, and at 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds, he’s another big man the franchise can take a look at in the coming months.

Over his four-year college career, Avila averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks a game. He shot 51.6% from the field during that time, as well as 37.9% from 3-point range.

Chase Ross, a guard who spent four years at Marquette University, is also coming to the Lakers on an Exhibit 10 contract.

Ross isn’t much of an outside shooting threat, but he did average 14.3 points a game this past season. He led the Big East with 2.3 steals per game, and at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, he is a pesky point-of-attack defender who has plenty of athleticism.
