Ja'Kobi Lane has buzz brewing in Baltimore as Ravens start fresh

The NFL draft concluded a couple of weeks ago, yet there is still excitement and buzz brewing in Baltimore after the selection of outside receiver Ja’Kobi Lane. The Ravens are looking to create an even more explosive offense, and Lane fits the bill of what they need on the outside.

In a recent tweet, Ravens analyst Ryan Mink highlights the hype surrounding the new Baltimore Raven, Ja’Kobi Lane. Here is what the tweet said:

Here’s what Todd Heap and Torrey Smith said about the Ravens’ third-round rookie.

“I’ve been watching this kid make plays since he was 13 years old. … He probably has the most upside of just about any receiver in this draft.” — Todd Heap”.

Many may have thought this pick was a reach or that it was not the right selection for the Baltimore Ravens, but Ja’Kobi Lane is going to be a star in Baltimore. He has the potential to be everything Lamar Jackson has wanted on the outside and more. The Ravens have not done the best job with surrounding Lamar with talent at receiver, but with the upside Lane has, this could end up being a home run selection.
