The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
After beating the Toronto Raptors at the buzzer on Thursday, the Lakers got slammed by the Boston Celtics 126-105 on Friday. In that game, neither Luka Doncic nor LeBron James played, but Doncic is expected to return on Sunday after being in his native Slovenia for the birth of his second daughter.
Los Angeles currently has a 16-6 record and is barely in second place in the Western Conference, as it is tied record-wise with the Denver Nuggets but owns the tiebreaker over them. However, it has now lost two of its last three games, and it could easily have a three-game losing streak had it not been for Rui Hachimura’s walk-off 3-pointer on Thursday.
Just as they did last season, the 76ers continue to deal with the injury problems of Joel Embiid and Paul George. But star guard Tyrese Maxey keeps elevating his game and is averaging 31.6 points and 7.1 assists a game, while fellow guards Quentin Grimes and VJ Edgecombe are contributing very well. As a result, Philly is in seventh place in the Eastern Conference at 13-9. After struggling in November, it has won three games in a row and four of its last five.
