The Los Angeles Rams probably won’t have their first-round rookie, Ty Simpson, suiting up for them in 2026, but many of their opponents will. Of the 32 first-round selections this year, the Rams are slated to play more than a third of them.
They’ll face 13 first-round rookies this season, including five of the top seven picks. Of the 14 teams on their schedule, only 10 of them made selections in the first round, three of which had multiple picks.
Here are the 13 first-round rookies the Rams will face this season, provided they’re all healthy and in the starting lineup.
Love and Price should have significant impacts for the Cardinals and Seahawks, respectively, as will many of the other rookies on this list. Mendoza will start at some point over Kirk Cousins, one would assume, and Reese and Styles were two of the best linebackers in the class.
Delane was the top corner, Mauigoa is a terrific tackle and Downs was the unquestioned best safety. Lemon was a player the Rams targeted at No. 14 before taking Simpson, so they’ll get to see what he brings to the table in Week 4.
