Go inside Rams' locker room after win vs. Cardinals: Victory speech and MVP chants

It was all smiles for the Los Angeles Rams after their 45-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, giving the locker room a much different feel than last week’s mood. It was as dominant a performance as we’ve seen from the Rams this year, doing whatever they wanted on offense and shutting down the Cardinals with a swarming defensive attack.

In the locker room afterwards, Sean McVay recognized several deserving individuals. Firstly, he called out Mike LaFleur, who stepped up when McVay was sick for the last few days.

He then passed out five more game balls to players, including the entire offensive line. He spotlighted Nate Landman for his interception, the O-line for clearing big running lanes, Blake Corum for his 128-yard, two-touchdown day, Puka Nacua and his 167 yards (and two touchdowns) and Matthew Stafford, the leading MVP candidate.

Stafford broke down the locker room as his teammates chanted “MVP,” praising their leader under center.

“Hey, I appreciate it. I love you guys. Man, let’s keep going, huh?” Stafford said.

The Rams are in great shape once again, taking over the No. 1 seed and maintaining their lead in the NFC West over the Seahawks, who are also 10-3. The division could come down to Week 16 when the Rams face the Seahawks, but Los Angeles has to handle the Lions next week first.
