A second earthquake struck near Banning on Friday evening.
It was a magnitude of 3.1 and located about 2 miles west from Banning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The USGS reported it around 6 p.m.
Another earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.0, struck about 2 miles west from Banning earlier in the day around noon.
