The San Francisco 49ers dealt with some serious injury situations in 2025 but still managed to make the playoffs with a 12-5 record before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champions in the divisional round.
Throughout the first month or so of the offseason, the 49ers added some players who could take on key roles in 2026, including Mike Evans, Christian Kirk and Osa Odighizuwa. Those moves put San Francisco at 16-1 odds to win the Super Bowl this season.
However, after the NFL draft, the 49ers’ odds to win the Super Bowl have actually gone down to 17-1, despite adding several intriguing prospects throughout the three-day selection meeting.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the 49ers have the 10th-best odds to lift a Lombardi Trophy in 2026. Ahead of them are the Los Angeles Rams (+800), Baltimore Ravens (+950), Seattle Seahawks (+950), Buffalo Bills (10-1), Kansas City Chiefs (15-1), Philadelphia Eagles (16-1), New England Patriots (16-1), Los Angeles Chargers (16-1) and Green Bay Packers (16-1).
San Francisco is a better team now than they were at the end of the 2025 season, and if they can keep some of their best players healthy, they should have a better chance of advancing past the divisional round in 2026.
