Bronny James and Lebron James have both been named in many trade rumors and predictions amid the uncertainty about Lebron James’ future with the Lakers. If Lebron James does get traded, it is likely that his son Bronny James will be in the same trade package with him. Golden State Warriors on Sports Illustrated’s Logan Struck analyzed a recent Bleacher Report mock trade sending Lebron James and Bronny to a very intriguing destination.
“Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley came up with a wild trade proposal that sends both LeBron James and Bronny James to the Warriors for Jimmy Butler and a 2028 first-round pick swap,” Struck wrote. “A new duo of James and Curry, the two greatest active players in the league, would not only break the internet but also give both stars one last chance at a championship run. The 40-year-old superstar and his 20-year-old son, making their way to Golden State in exchange for six-time All-Star Jimmy Butler, would wildly shake up the Pacific Division and the NBA as a whole.
“Of course, there is a possibility that neither team would want to explore this, especially the Warriors, after seeing how well Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler meshed last season. It is unlikely for the Warriors, the only NBA team that has not made a move this offseason, to make a trade as drastic as this one. Still, it is an interesting idea to explore for both franchises.”

Lebron gets to also play with longtime friend Draymond Green. Bronny James gets to learn under Steph Curry, one of the best point guards of all time.
Bronny James getting time to develop his offensive game with Steph Curry could do wonders for his career. The Lakers would also get back one of the best playoff performers in this era in Jimmy Butler, something Luka Doncic could benefit from. This would be an interesting move for all parties, but at the very least, it would represent a very beneficial landing spot for Bronny James.
