The time is nigh.
The 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicks off a week from today on Friday, April 11, but there’s still one question on every festivalgoer’s mind: what time are my favorite artists going to play?
Here’s what to know about set times, as well as answers to your other Coachella questions:
What is the Coachella music festival schedule?
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet. Goldenvoice doesn’t typically release the Coachella set times until a day or two before the festival, so start checking social media, the Coachella app and desertsun.com on Monday, April 7, and keep an eye out every day leading up to the fest.
When does Coachella start?
The first weekend of the fest runs April 11-13. The second weekend runs April 18-20.
Where is Coachella held?
The Coachella festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, about 27 miles east of Palm Springs.
What is the Coachella bag policy?
Bags, backpacks, purses and handbags are allowed in as long as they are 18″ x 13″ x 8.5″ or smaller. We recommend bringing a small backpack, belt bag or fanny pack — anything that can fit your must-haves and will stay strapped to you securely.

Coachella lockers
Don’t want to carry your evening jacket or other bulky items around the festival? Buy a locker online ahead of time.
Bring your phone to the fest and an employee will scan the AXS Mobile ID digital locker pass from your Coachella Festival app or AXS App (iOS and Android). Your mobile ticket will be available in either the app before the first day of the festival. If you have any issues, contact lockers@coachella.com. (And don’t worry, the fest will hold your GA Locker reservation throughout the entire festival until you claim it.)
Nobu at Coachella
On Thursday, April 3, an announcement posted to the Coachella Instagram story featured an illustration of a bar with a Nobu sign above it, link to book a reservation and the words “Inside the Red Bull Mirage.”
When organizers announced the new Red Bull Mirage area on March 17, Billboard reported that the “first level will house a dining experience,” but didn’t note what restaurant would be housed in the space. This appears to be Coachella’s way of announcing that said “dining experience” is indeed the beloved luxury sushi restaurant Nobu, and reservations are now available.
