Now that he’s retired, Aaron Donald has more time on his hands. He still works out every day and looks like he could go for double-digit sacks, but he’s got time to troll the Los Angeles Rams’ biggest rival and their fans.
After Sunday’s game, Donald posted a message on X about the Rams’ 42-26 drubbing of the 49ers. It seems he got some responses from 49ers fans because on Monday, he shared another post calling them out for clinging to their last Super Bowl win in 1995.
Donald took a shot at the fanbase, which elicited even more responses from 49ers fans, as well as plenty of support from Rams backers.
The Rams are now a game and a half ahead of the 49ers, sitting at 7-2 through nine games. Donald loves what he’s seen from his former team, especially after watching them dismantle a banged-up 49ers team in blowout fashion on Sunday.
It’s always good to see a legend sneak in a jab here and there.
