49ers get WR De'Zhaun Stribling back at practice on Thursday

The San Francisco 49ers are back on the practice fields at their SAP Performance Facility on Thursday before they have a walkthrough on Friday, and while training camp has been a disaster so far, they finally got some good injury news.

The biggest news is that rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling was back at practice after missing the last five sessions with hamstring tightness. San Francisco’s top pick in the 2026 NFL draft flashed early in camp, so they’re hoping he doesn’t miss a beat now that he’s back.

The 49ers also got defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa, linebacker Drew Greenlaw and defensive end Sam Okuayinonu back. Odighizuwa and Greenlaw were out on Wednesday due to soreness while Okuayinonu left practice on Wednesday with an injury.

Unfortunately, several players, including Mike Evans, Nick Bosa, Kyle Juszczyk, Jacob Cowing, Carver Willis, Brett Toth, Jordan James and Kaelon Black were still not present at the start of the session, while offensive lineman Nick Zakelj was a new absentee due to an elbow injury, according to the Mercury News’ Cam Inman.
