The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, 56^th consecutive Blood drive information.  We had (47) donors presented (arrived), we surpassed our goal of 35, (10) donors were deferred, and (29) whole blood pints collected.  Also, we collected (5 Power reds = 9 pints) for a total of 38 pints. 

We had (2) first time donors who arrived to provide the ”Gift of Life”.   With the support of Lodge 343, the American Red Cross, has collected over 1,921 units (pints) = over 240 gallons of blood since our 1^st blood drive on January 7, 2013.  We are almost to our next goal of 2,000 pints (250 gallons).  Our 57^th Blood Drive has been scheduled for Monday, December 18^th.  To date, we currently have 20 scheduled appointments booked with the American Red Cross.
