It’s time to vote for another Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week for the Petoskey-area.
All results for this week’s poll come from Monday, Jan. 26 through Saturday, Jan. 31 from Emmet and Charlevoix Counties.

Congratulations to Harbor Springs girls basketball player Marlie Richardson on being named the Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week a week ago!
Richardson has been key senior leader for the Rams in their big start to the season and finished with a pair of great games the following week. She earned the win behind 63.23% of the vote.
Vote for these athletes from Monday, Feb. 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5. Look for another Moore Mechanical Athlete of the Week from the Petoskey-area next week.

Taryn Carey, Charlevoix basketball
Carey had a strong week for the Rayders, finishing with 11 points, 18 rebounds and three steals in a win over Grayling, then had 14 points and 7 rebounds against Kingsley.
Eli Dettmer, Petoskey skiing
Dettmer skied to a third place slalom finish in 55.96 and a 10th place finish in giant slalom in 39.61 as the Northmen boys earned a runner-up BNC finish last Monday.
Ellis Malpass, East Jordan basketball
Malpass continued to play well and helped the Red Devils to a pair of wins, scoring 19 against Houghton Lake last week, then 17 against Forest Area.
Quinn Myers, Harbor Springs skiing
Myers highlighted the depth of talent on the Harbor Springs roster this week and led the way in the Rams’ Northern Shores race with a third place giant slalom finish in 55.96.
Parker Ward, Petoskey basketball
Ward came on early in a busy week for the Northmen, notching 17 points against Alpena, to go with 14 against Sault Ste. Marie.
Korbin Kopenkoskey, Boyne City wrestling
Kopenkoskey helped the Ramblers claim their first-ever Northern Shores wrestling title over the weekend and earned a title at 113 pounds with a 2-0 day, improving to 28-3 for the season.
Carter Greenacre, Charlevoix basketball
Greenacre stayed consistent throughout the week, scoring 15 in a loss to Grayling, then also had 18 points and 7 rebounds in a victory over Kingsley.
