Beastie Boy Mike D will perform at Detroit’s Majestic Theatre on Oct. 17, his reps announced on Monday.
The show is part of the Mike D 5D tour, which consists of Mike D (aka Mike Diamond), his sons Skyler and Davis Diamond, along with Eddie Ruscha, Will Graefe and Milo Ruscha.
Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via axs.com. Presale tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Mike D’s solo debut album “Thank You” is due out Aug. 28, his new single “Crypto” was released Friday.
The Detroit show is part of a North American tour that kicks off Aug. 30 in Boston and wraps Oct. 20 in Toronto.
Mike D has recently re-emerged for his first musical project since the death of Adam Yauch in 2012. The legendary trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later that year.
The Beastie Boys’ last Detroit shows were a two-night stand at the Fillmore Detroit on Sept. 24-25, 2007.
