PORT HURON — Here are the girls high school basketball results for Thursday, Dec. 11, in the Blue Water Area.
Yale 60, Almont 30
Sadie Dykstra dropped a game-high 28 points for Yale (1-0). Aubree Churchill contributed nine points. The Bulldogs welcome Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Rachael Johnson finished with 12 points to guide Almont (1-1). Madi Derk, Vivian Asaro and Gabby Carlson each had five points. The Raiders host Armada at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Anchor Bay 47, St. Clair 32
Gracie Pickelhaupt scored 12 points for St. Clair (1-1). Maliyah Smith followed with six points. The Saints entertain Madison Heights Lamphere at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.
Croswell-Lexington 44, Richmond 28
Nathalie Holes totaled 12 points, five assists and four steals to lead Croswell-Lexington (2-0). Valarie Bird added 11 points, nine rebounds and three steals. The Pioneers visit North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Audrina Nader and Julia Rancilio both scored seven points for Richmond (0-1). The Blue Devils face Cardinal Mooney at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. The game will be played at L’Anse Creuse High School-North in Macomb.
Ferndale University 47, Cardinal Mooney 38
Cardinal Mooney (0-1) faces Richmond at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.
Grosse Pointe South 66, Port Huron Northern 22
Port Huron Northern (0-2) welcomes Macomb L’Anse Creuse North at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.
Port Huron 56, Dearborn Heights Robichaud 44
Mariah Turner and Brooklyn Ware each scored 16 points to lead Port Huron (2-0). Ware also eclipsed 10 rebounds to secure a double-double. Karmea Jordan and Harmony Burke both added eight points.
The Red Hawks host Fraser at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15.
Sandusky 49, Bad Axe 8
Maggy Keinath and Caroline Reinke each finished with 10 points for Sandusky (1-0). Emma Merriman and Cora Arbaugh both scored eight points.
The Wolves travel travel to Reese at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
