It’s officially the season of the mani-pedi. As residents pack their bags for summer trips and beach days, many are wondering which salon they should trust with the health and vibrancy of their nails.
Trying a new salon can be nerve-wracking. What if they damage my nails? What if the manicure chips? What if I end up breaking a nail?
Fortunately, whether you’re interested in dip powder, gel, acrylics or a classic polish, there’s no shortage of salons in Lenawee County. So really, it’s a matter of preference and trust.
This week, we asked readers to nominate and vote for their favorite nail salon in Lenawee County. The winner in the nine-way race was clear.
Mitten Nails, located at 316 1/2 W. Kilbuck Road in Tecumseh, took first place with 23.08% of the vote. The business offers everything from acrylic nails to gel polish to basic manicures.
Dollhouse of Adrian, located at 115 E. Maumee St. in Adrian, came in second place with 17.95% of the vote. The business offers braids, haircare, facials, threading and wax services in addition to nails.
Queen Nails, located at 1418 W. Chicago Blvd. in Tecumseh, took third place with 15.38% of the vote.
