Michigan State basketball is continuing to make one particular shooting guard prospect a high-priority in the 2026 class.
Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo reportedly visited with four-star shooting guard prospect Jasiah Jervis on Wednesday, which is the second straight week the Spartans’ head coach has made a trip to visit with the prized recruit. Jamie Shaw of Rivals reported the notable recruiting update on Wednesday morning.

Jervis also recently took an official visit to Michigan State a few weeks ago and has remained a top priority for the Spartans in the 2026 class. Justin Thind of 247Sports recently reported Michigan State is going all-in on his recruitment as well.
Jervis hails from White Plains, N.Y. and is listed as a high-end four-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 2 shooting guard in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the class.
Michigan State is battling it out with a number of big-name programs for Jervis at the moment. Of the 20 offers he holds, it appears the Spartans’ top competition in this recruiting battle are NC State, Pitt, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Oregon and Tennessee.
