Monroe author Tracy Palm, 66, is hoping to spread spiritual enlightenment with her first book, “Heaven Said To Tell You.”
Around 14 years ago, Palm was attending a prayer meeting with a group of community leaders, as she had been the head of the Arthur Leslow Community Center at the time. At the meeting, they had a bishop visiting from Africa, and Palm was invited to join him at the front of the room so he could prophecy over her.
“And at that point, I was transported,” Palm said. “While I was standing there, upright, transported to another realm. And the most shocking part for me, in the end, is I looked at everybody to see if they looked at me like something remarkable or phenomenal happened. Nobody gave any indication of noticing anything.”
She said the out of body experience was filled with “revelations, visions, teachings, events, and experiences.” Afterward, she started looking into other religions and spiritual teachings, as well as other people this had happened to, or could challenge her. In 2024, she decided to compile the notes she’d been taking throughout her journey into a book.
“I hope (readers) will feel a connection,” she said. “I hope that they will feel like they’ve encountered something when they read the book, something magnificent and mind-bending.”
According to Trunnis Goggins II, cofounder of Veritas Publishing House, which published the book on July 21, the book is #43 for best seller status and #4 for top new release in out of body experiences in the United States, and #13 in out of body experiences and #2 top seller in Canada. The rankings, he said, came from Amazon.
Palm said she’s not sure whether she’ll write a second book. Instead, she mentioned she was thinking about opening a mentoring center. She was a leader at House of Prayer Church from 2013 to 2022 as a licensed pastor, and founded C4C Ministries in 2016, where she served until 2024. She is currently retired.
In her book, she gave an acknowledgement to her husband, Brian, her brother, Rich, and her children for their support in her journey.
