Boys lacrosse players who compete in the KLAA are going up against some of the best teams in the state year in and year out.
The league has had at least one team reach the state quarterfinals the last seven seasons, with a total of 17 teams from five different schools reaching that stage. Hartland has been in the quarterfinals all eight years, while Brighton has made it the last three.
Slots on the all-conference team were allocated by a team’s finish in one of the KLAA’s two divisions. Brighton and Livonia got five all-conference selections each for winning their respective divisions. Second-place teams got four, third-place teams three, fourth-place teams two and fifth-place teams one. Each team also gets one honorable mention selection.
This season, the KLAA had two first-team all-staters, six second-team all-staters, one third-team all-stater and 16 players who received honorable mention in statewide voting.
That group forms the core of the 2025 all-KLAA boys lacrosse team.
