As the 2026 NFL season approaches, the Week 2 “Thursday Night Football” clash on Sept. 17 between the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills from the new Highmark Stadium ranks as the league’s highest-priced ticket, according to Gametime.
The median ticket price is listed at $1,230. The Lions’ Week 2 matchup is $205 more expensive than the Chicago Bears’ Week 5 trip to Lambeau Field to battle the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 12 trip to the Bills on Thanksgiving Day.
For Lions fans considering a trip to the Queen City for the game, they should expect to rack up quite the expense for the early-season contest.
While these numbers are obviously subject to change, the Lions-Bills matchup will remain one of the most expensive tickets on the market due to the outstanding passion from both Buffalo and Detroit fans.
