Cincinnati’s JD Vance and his wife Usha, announced the birth of their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance.
In a post on X July 19, the vice president wrote that the boy was born in the morning. “Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”
Vance thanked the doctors and staff Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit.
Alec joins Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4. He is the first baby born to a sitting vice president in modern American history.
Vance grew up in Middletown, and now maintains a home in Cincinnati’s East Walnut Hills neighborhood.
