Here is a look at the Greater Lansing high school girls lacrosse Dream Team and all-area selections.
PLAYER OF YEAR
Abby Russell
Team: Haslett-Williamston
Accomplishments: The Pittsburgh signee had 98 goals and 29 assists and earned All-American and Michigan Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division 2 first team all-state accolades at midfield while helping Haslett-Williamston reach the state semifinals. Russell finished her career with 343 goals and 489 points.
DREAM TEAM
Colette Charchut
Team: Haslett-Willamston
Accomplishments: The Saint Joseph’s University commit was a Division 2 third team all-state selection and had 82 goals and 23 assists.
Maggie Gillentine
Team: Holt
Accomplishments: Gillentine was a MWLCA Division 1 honorable mention all-state selection.
Vivienne Hagen
Team: East Lansing
Accomplishments: Hagen was a MWLCA Division 1 third team all-state selection at midfield.
Laila Martin
Team: East Lansing
Accomplishments: Martin was an All-CAAC selection.
Sydney McNeil
Team: Okemos
Accomplishments: McNeil was a Division 2 MWLCA honorable mention all-state selection.
Eden Peele
Team: St. Johns
Accomplishments: Peele earned All-CAAC honors.
Jillian Randolph
Team: DeWitt
Accomplishments: The Hope College commit and midfielder was a MWLCA honorable mention all-state selection in Division 2. She had 19 goals, seven assists, 72 draw controls and 38 caused turnovers.
Alexis Raska
Team: Grand Ledge
Accomplishments: The Aquinas signee was selected third team all-state in Division 2 by the MWLCA at midfield. She had more than 50 goals this spring for the Comets.
Lucy Roberts
Team: DeWitt
Accomplishments: The Northern Michigan signee and midfielder was a MWLCA Division 2 third team all-state selection and had 206 career points.
Josie Sarata
Team: Grand Ledge
Accomplishments: Sarata was selected Division 2 honorable mention all-state by MWLCA.
Kaity Sheehan
Team: Grand Ledge
Accomplishments: Sheehan was a MWLCA Division 2 second team all-state selection on defense.
Leah Stafanko
Team: DeWitt
Accomplishments: The All-CAAC selection had 29 goals, six assists and 82 draw controls while helping the Panthers to a league runner-up finish.
Iris Stull-Williams
Team: Haslett-Willamston
Accomplishments: Stull-Williams had 20 goals and 62 assists and caused 19 turnovers while earning All-CAAC accolades.
Jocelyn Trosky-Lucio
Team: Haslett-Williamston
Accomplishments: The goalie had 109 saves and was an All-CAAC selection.
Adi VanAcker
Team: Haslett-Williamston
Accomplishments: The MWLCA Division 2 honorable mention all-state selection had 68 goals and 20 assists.
Kate Waugh
Team: Okemos
Accomplishments: Waugh earned MWLCA third team all-state honors in Division 2 at midfield.
