Here's the midterm races we're watching in Lenawee County

This article is intended to be a resource for registered voters in Lenawee County for the primary and general elections of 2026, taking place Aug. 4 and Nov. 3. This page will be updated as candidates announce their campaigns, and again following the results of the primary.

In addition to the local races listed below, statewide decisions include governor, secretary of state, attorney general and a seat in the U.S. Senate.

Fifth District 

Region: Full — Hillsdale County, Branch County, Cass County, Jackson County, Lenawee County, Monroe County, St. Joseph County

Incumbent: Rep. Tim Walberg (R–Tipton)

Filing Deadline: For write-in Aug. 4, July 24. For write-in Nov. 3, Oct. 23.

15th District 

Region: Partial — Washtenaw County, Lenawee County and Monroe County

Incumbent: Jeff Irwin (D–Ann Arbor)

16th District 

Region: Partial — Hillsdale County, Lenawee County and Monroe County

Incumbent: Sen. Joseph Bellino Jr. (R–Monroe)

Candidates:

Michigan House of Representatives (Two-Year Terms)

30th District 

Region: Partial — Lenawee County and Monroe County

Incumbent: William Bruck (R–Erie)

Candidates:

31st District 

Region: Partial — Lenawee County, Monroe County, Washtenaw County and Wayne County

Incumbent: Reggie Miller (D–Van Buren Twp.)

34th District 

Region: Partial — Lenawee County

Incumbent: Nancy Jenkins-Arno (R–Clayton)

Candidates:

35th District 

Region: Full — Hillsdale County, Branch County and Hudson

Incumbent: Rep. Jennifer Wortz (R–Quincy)

Filing Deadline: For write-in Aug. 4, July 24. For write-in Nov. 3, Oct. 23.

Candidates:

Lenawee County 39th Circuit Court Judge

Incumbent: Michael Olsaver

Candidates: Olsaver is seeking re-election unopposed.

Lenawee County 2A District Court Judge

Incumbent: Todd Morgan

Candidates: Morgan is seeking re-election unopposed.

Proposals

There are no proposals listed for Aug. 4 or Nov. 3 in Lenawee County, as of May 4. They are due by May 12 and Aug. 11, respectively.
