A Flint man convicted in federal court of cocaine possession and maintaining a drug house has been sentenced to prison, officials said.
Last week, federal judge in Flint gave Bobby Boseman, also known as “Killa B,” 235 months behind bars, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan Jerome Gorgon said.
In February 2025, he pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and maintaining a drug premises, according to court records.
“This defendant chose to torture women, distribute dangerous drugs, and inflict lasting harm through ruthless criminal actions,” Jennifer Runyan, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Detroit Field Office, said in a statement. “This sentence ensures the defendant will have years in federal prison to reflect on those choices while justice is served.
“Make no mistake, the FBI will not tolerate those who invoke fear, violence, and exploitation in our communities.”
Boseman’s attorney, James Gerometta, was not immediately available for comment on Monday. However, court records said Gerometta filed notice that his client was appealing the decision.
Authorities alleged Boseman sold and used cocaine from his Flint home between February and August 2021. He allegedly directed others who sold drugs at his home and allowed customers to consume the narcotics there.
They also accused the 46-year-old of torturing two women, whom he said stole drugs from him. Police found two naked and injured women at the home when they arrested Boseman on Aug. 3, 2021, according to court documents.
The victims told officers Boseman accused them of stealing drugs, kept them nude and unfed for days, beat them, and forced them to engage in sexual acts. Court records said one of the women had a collapsed lung.
“Only a coward beats women,” Gorgon said in a statement. “And only a pimp forces them to sell their bodies. This rapacious drug dealer treated these women worse than animals.”
His case follows others in which Michigan residents faced federal drug charges.
Last week, a former Harper Woods woman was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison for selling cocaine laced with fentanyl to three Grosse Pointe Woods residents who all died after ingesting the drugs in 2023.
A Saginaw drug dealer freed from prison last year after President Joe Biden commuted his sentence was hit with new federal drug charges last week.
A Grosse Pointe Park trucking company owner and former enforcer for a network of crack traffickers in the 1990s was charged in March with distributing cocaine.
