BATTLE CREEK – Harper Creek held a special spring signing day, highlighting the future destinations for some of the student-athletes at the school.
Five Beaver seniors took advantage of the opportunity to have their family, friends and coaches there to celebrate their decision to compete at the next level at a ceremonial signing event, including Maddox McCarty, Camari Hampton, Cohen Deskins, Aidan Hagelgans and Travis Holmes.

Maddox has committed to play football and baseball at the University of Olivet. Maddox was part of a two-time league championship football team with the Beavers. He has been an all-city and all-league selection in both football and baseball.
Hampton will also go to the University of Olivet to play football after being a standout running back for the Interstate 8 Conference champion Harper Creek squad and earning all-city honors.
Deskins will attend Albion College to compete in track and field. Deskins has been a part of back-to-back team state champions at Harper Creek in track.
Hagelgans and Holmes will both play for the Albion College lacrosse team next year after being a key part of the Harper Creek program the last four seasons.
