One person was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash involving a utility terrain vehicle on Memorial Day in Camden Township.
According to a report from the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 11:10 a.m. May 25 to Alvord Road near Grant Road. Upon arrival, deputies determined a northbound Polaris RZR lost control and left the roadway, striking trees and rocks before rolling over.
There were two occupants in the vehicle. The first — Carter Pish, 20, of Bronson — was pronounced dead at the scene. The second — Carson Drumm, 19, of Homer — was airlifted by Survival Flight to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson.
Also responding were the Camden Township Fire Department, Montgomery Fire Department, Reading Emergency Unit, Lenawee-Hillsdale County Medical Examiner’s Office and Coldwater Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
