MSP wrote the victim was an 82-year-old Holland man, who’d rear-ended a semi tractor-trailer that had stopped due to traffic congestion. The man, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was uninjured.

The investigation remains ongoing, though alcohol and drugs aren’t believed to be factors in the crash.
