The first major shakeup of roster season affected Michigan State basketball on Tuesday morning with an anticipated senior guard entering the NCAA transfer portal.
ESPN NBA draft analyst Jonathan Givony reported that Tre Holloman was entering the NCAA transfer portal. It was a shocking decision by the junior guard, who was a captain this past season and averaged more than 23 minutes a game. Holloman was poised to be a captain for another year, while also getting an increased role on the roster.
His three-year career at MSU appears over. He played in 106 games, averaging 5.5 points, 2.4 assists and 1.5 rebounds.
