A former Michigan State basketball great has found a new coaching gig in the high school basketball world. Delvon Roe has been named as the basketball coach at South Pasadena High School in California.
A Lakewood (Ohio) native, Roe was a standout for the Spartans from 2008-2011. He made two Final Four appearances during his time in East Lansing. His career was cut short due to a knee injury, which did not allow him to play in his senior year with the program.
After his basketball career, Roe took up acting after getting a degree in acting from Michigan State. He appeared on various film projects and TV series in the following decade.
Roe has since moved into coaching in California. He served as the coach at both Northridge Academy High School and St. Genevieve High School, before getting this job with South Pasadena.
